New Community, new home, renewed vision

Our hope and prayer is that three principle families or couples would form the core and invest the time, energy and money to start the process of establishing this “community”. Each would purchase or rent property either side by side or in close proximity. Wolfville, NS would be the closest geographic community.

• MISSION The Mission would be the ministry of reconciliation of the Holy Spirit in the lives of people, families, communities and the nations. Live out the Jesus model of Justice.

Together we would work toward establishing common endeavours:

• Quiet spaces for reflection
• The use of horses for learning, fun and life change (Equine intervention)
• Outdoor & Eco-adventure- hiking, canoeing, sea kayaking, camping;
• Family activities and space to play and explore;
• sharing a meal and also having personal space;
• A working farm- organic foods & livestock;
• Mission projects and partnerships in other lands.
• Accommodation for guests, friends, and extended family
• Common buildings and space: barn; community room; library; art studio; prayer room; workshop and garage.
• Green building- environmentally responsible building and production of our own electricity heat and water. Stewardship of the earth.
• Training and apprenticeship opportunities: practical trades carpentry, plumbing, electrical; discipleship in the ways of Jesus; the arts; leadership; prayer and contemplative life; mission & cultural redemption; and the care and nurture of the whole person.
